Serendipity should be open to everyone. This site is built so people with disabilities can read it, navigate it and get in touch as easily as anyone else.
The standard we follow
The site is built to Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of the W3C, at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. We also follow WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- An Accessibility button in the bottom corner of every page, with two options:
- High contrast switches the whole site to colours that meet the WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- Pause animations stops everything that moves on its own, including the scrolling ribbon, the animated line and the video reel. It turns on automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Your choices are remembered on your device between visits.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and a declared language, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Every meaningful image has a text description. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The video reel is silent and has a text description. When animations are paused it shows standard play controls.
- Form fields have accessible names, and messages after sending are announced to screen readers.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% with the browser zoom without loss of content.
Known limitations
- The default design uses a few low‑contrast colour combinations as part of the visual identity. The High contrast option replaces them with compliant colours across the site.
- Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, lead to pages we do not control, and their accessibility is the responsibility of their owners.
The site was last reviewed on 11 September 2026 with automated testing and manual keyboard checks. It works best in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, together with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.

הצהרת נגישות
אנו רואים חשיבות רבה בכך שהאתר יהיה נגיש לכל אדם, כולל אנשים עם מוגבלות. האתר נבנה בהתאם לתקן הישראלי 5568, המבוסס על הנחיות WCAG 2.0 של ארגון W3C, ברמה AA, כנדרש בתקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע״ג‑2013. בנוסף הוא עומד בהנחיות WCAG 2.1 ברמה AA.
התאמות שבוצעו
- כפתור נגישות בפינה התחתונה של כל עמוד, עם שתי אפשרויות: ניגודיות גבוהה, שמחליפה את צבעי האתר כולו לצבעים העומדים בדרישות הניגודיות, ועצירת אנימציות, שעוצרת כל תנועה באתר, כולל הסרטון. עצירת האנימציות מופעלת אוטומטית אם במכשיר מוגדרת הפחתת תנועה.
- הבחירות נשמרות במכשיר בין ביקורים.
- אפשר לנווט באתר כולו באמצעות המקלדת בלבד, עם סימון פוקוס ברור וקישור ״דלג לתוכן״.
- לעמודים יש מבנה כותרות, אזורי ניווט והגדרת שפה, לשימוש קוראי מסך.
- לכל תמונה בעלת משמעות יש תיאור טקסטואלי, ותמונות קישוטיות מוסתרות מקוראי מסך.
- הסרטון שקט ומלווה בתיאור טקסטואלי. כשהאנימציות עצורות מוצגים בו כפתורי הפעלה.
- לשדות הטופס יש שמות נגישים, והודעות לאחר השליחה מוקראות לקוראי מסך.
- אפשר להגדיל את הטקסט עד 200% בדפדפן בלי לאבד תוכן.
מגבלות ידועות
בעיצוב ברירת המחדל יש כמה צירופי צבעים בניגודיות נמוכה, כחלק מהשפה החזותית. אפשרות הניגודיות הגבוהה מחליפה אותם בצבעים תקינים בכל האתר. קישורים לאתרים חיצוניים, כמו LinkedIn, מובילים לעמודים שאינם בשליטתנו.
הבדיקה האחרונה של האתר נערכה ב‑11 בספטמבר 2026, בכלי בדיקה אוטומטיים ובבדיקה ידנית של ניווט במקלדת. האתר מותאם לגרסאות העדכניות של הדפדפנים Chrome, Safari, Firefox ו‑Edge ולקוראי המסך NVDA, JAWS ו‑VoiceOver.
